Dr Suzanne Habib is the Director of the Pacific Centre for Motivation and Change-Australia.
Suzanne is an endorsed health psychologist, she has a PhD in clinical health psychology and is a registered, practicing psychologist in Australia. Suzanne has lectured for several years on the postgraduate program in the School of Psychology at James Cook University campuses in Australia and Singapore. Suzanne’s research, publications and clinical interests have a focus on health behaviour change and include the use of Motivational Interviewing to increase engagement in treatment, motivation to self-manage chronic health conditions, brief intervention, and assessment of motivation.
Suzanne has completed her own clinical training in Motivational Interviewing in Australia, England and New Zealand, and trained as a trainer in Motivational Interviewing in Paris. She has been providing onsite training in Motivational Interviewing throughout the Asia Pacific region since 2002 and has been offering online training to a range of medical and allied health providers, mental health practitioners, teachers, corrections staff, students, and research groups around the world since 2006.
